DOC RELEASED BY COURT AS HOOKER HE FORCED TO HAVE SEX WITH DOG FAILS TO SHOW UP

This comes after Vladimir Rajkovic (55) through his lawyer Mr Everson Chatambudza made an application for refusal of further remand arguing that the State witnesses were not forthcoming.

Rajkovic who is facing a charge of aggravated indecent a*sault is also accused of taking pornographic pictures of the woman and inserting an artificial male organ into the woman’s private parts at gunpoint.

Mr Chatambudza had argued that the witnesses were not taking court business seriously.«Your Worship the State witnesses in this matter are not forthcoming. They were warned to appear in court on July 21 and they failed to turn up.They were issued with warrants of arrest which are still outstanding and the State made an undertaking to ensure the presence of the witnesses for trial but such efforts were fruitless as is clear that they are not in attendance,» he said.

The State led by Mr Nathaniel Chigoro consented to the application saying the State would not suffer any prejudice.

He said he had made frantic efforts to try and secure the presence of the witnesses to no avail.Regional magistrate Mr Clever Tsikwa stated that there was no prejudice to be suffered by the State if the accused was to be removed from remand since the State had a viable remedy to proceed by way of summons. The State alleges that on June 7 this year Rajkovic met the woman at the Corner of

Baines Avenue and Sixth Street and hired her for sex.According to the agreement, the woman was to get US$45 for the service, it is alleged. They went to Rajkovic’s flat along Baines Avenue where the woman was allegedly drugged before the two became intimate. It is alleged that Rajkovic forcibly inserted an artificial male organ into the woman’s private parts before taking pictures. The court further heard that Rajkovic later phoned his friend inviting him to bring his dog for intimacy with the woman for US$300.
